La Liga Universitaria de Deportes tiene el placer y el agrado de anuncia que FISU designó a Uruguay como sede del FISU América Fútbol 11 que se jugará del 22 de mayo al 2 de junio en Punta del Este.
El principal balneario del Uruguay será anfitrión del torneo que abarcará la rama masculina y también la femenina con presencia de selecciones de todo el continente.
Esta emblemática ciudad, está situada en el departamento de Maldonado y es considerada una de las ciudades balnearias más bellas del continente, ubicada donde se unen las aguas del Río de la Plata y el Océano Atlántico.
Es uno de los centros turísticos más importantes y elegidos del país por miles de visitantes de todas las edades y nacionalidades.
De clima templado, con temperaturas de entre 25 y 32º C en verano, y con fríos que no bajan de los 6º C durante el invierno, Punta del Este reúne las expectativas climáticas para disfrutar tanto del calor como del frío.
Para la fecha del evento, Punta del Este experimentará temperaturas mínimas de 14°C y máximas de hasta 17°C, y se esperan pocos días de lluvia.
En los alrededores del sur de Punta del Este, aparecen lugares realmente bellos como Portezuelo, Solanas y Punta Ballena, donde se puede visitar “Casapueblo”, una obra maestra majestuosa realizada por el escultor uruguayo Carlos Páez Vilaró.
El Complejo Solanas será la casa del FISU América Fútbol 11
El Complejo Solanas, alojamiento de última generación, recibirá en sus instalaciones a todos los deportistas que participarán del FISU América Fútbol 11.
El Complejo Solanas, cuenta con alojamientos con todas las comodidades, piscinas, gimnasio, un restaurant que ofrecerá a los deportistas un vasto menú con tres comidas diarias.
Cuenta asimismo con 2 canchas de césped sintético en las que se jugará la fase de grupos.
El FISU América Fútbol 11
La fase de grupos del FISU América Fútbol 2024 se disputará en las canchas del Complejo Solanas, mientras que las semifinales se jugarán en el Estadio Club Libertad de la ciudad de San Carlos, el cual queda ubicado a 20 kilómetros del Complejo Solanas.
Las finales del FISU América Fútbol 2024 se disputarán en el Estadio Domingo Burgueño Miguel de Punta del Este – Maldonado, estadio en el que se disputó en 2023 la final de la Copa Sudamericana.
Un estadio completamente reformado, de pasto natural, el cual cuenta con una capacidad para 25.000 espectadores, transformándose en uno de los de mayor capacidad del país.
El complejo deportivo cuenta con instalaciones para la prensa, una sala para 500 personas, y espacios para albergar hasta cuatro delegaciones con salas de precalentamiento, masajes y gimnasio.
En cuanto al arribo de las delegaciones, esto se producirá en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Laguna del Sauce y también en la Terminal de Ómnibus de Maldonado.
Los planteles podrán llegar a partir del lunes 20 de mayo, mientras que podrán permanecer en la sede hasta el lunes 3 junio.
Participantes del FISU América Fútbol 11
Cada federación podrá presentar 2 equipos en la rama masculina y dos en la femenina. Quedará sujeto a la cantidad de participantes la posibilidad de agregar un nuevo equipo, siendo este el máximo posible.
Cada delegación estará compuesta por 25 personas:
- 20 jugadores, incluyendo este número a los 2 arqueros.
- 5 oficiales.
Por último y en cuanto a las edades, podrán participar aquellos deportistas nacidos entre el 01/01/1999 y el 31/12/2006.
