El Torneo Universitario llegó a su fin y Trébol se consagró como el mejor de la temporada logrando el regreso a la Divisional “A” de esta disciplina.
A falta de una fecha para el final y redondeando una estupenda temporada, Trébol se quedó con el título de campeón del Torneo Universitario de hockey femenino de la Divisional “B” y consiguió también el regreso a la categoría de privilegio.
“Quedando un partido para terminar el campeonato podemos decir que después de todo el esfuerzo, ganas y unas cuantas empanadas del abuelo, somos campeonas”, publicó la cuenta de Instagram del equipo que tuvo un muy buen 2023 logrando el objetivo de ascender y como por si eso fuera poco, con la copa incluida.
El equipo que dirige Federico Iglesias se había puesto como firme objetivo el volver a la Divisional “A”, donde supo ser más que protagonista, y lo logró luego de una gran temporada en la Liga Universitaria de Deportes.
De Paysandú a Montevideo, ida y vuelta, Trébol pudo festejar en la capital, se llevó una nueva copa para su vitrina y hoy festeja sabiendo que en 2024, el equipo volverá a decir presente en la Divisional “A” del hockey universitario.
