El hockey femenino de la Liga Universitaria de Deportes cerró una nueva temporada con un hecho histórico: la consagración de un equipo por quinto año consecutivo en la Divisional “A”.
La Liga Universitaria de Deportes tuvo el cierre de la temporada del torneo de hockey femenino de la Divisional “A” con un hecho histórico como la consagración de Northfield como campeón por quinto año consecutivo.
Un equipo que en las últimas temporadas se nutrió de jugadoras de mucha experiencia en el hockey uruguayo, logró nuevamente sus objetivos y levantó la copa de campeón para celebrar junto a toda su gente.
Luego de una gran temporada en la Divisional “A” de esta disciplina, Northfield ahora irá por más y en 2024 buscará el sexto título al hilo en la categoría de privilegio del hockey femenino universitario que desde 2019 no conoce a otro campeón.
En esa temporada, Northfield logró el primero de sus títulos consecutivos para luego también alzar el trofeo en el torneo disputado en 2020, 2021, 2022 y también en 2023.
