Lineamiento estratégico
1. Crecer como organización mediante alianzas estratégicas, a través de la gestión de nuevos espacios de competencia deportiva universitaria, a nivel nacional e internacional, con énfasis en disciplinas diferentes de fútbol y en el espacio inter-universitario y de incorporación de la mujer.
2. Mejorar integralmente la calidad de las competencias deportivas universitarias, en materia técnica, física, psicológica y de infraestructura, con costos accesibles.
3. Incorporar nuevos voluntarios, más activamente a la Liga Universitaria y mejorar su formación como líderes.
4. Mejorar la calidad de la gestión de la Liga.
5. Promover, junto a organizaciones gubernamentales, deportivas, educativas y sociales, actividades encaminadas al desarrollo del deporte en general y del universitario, en particular.
6. Acentuar el reconocimiento social de la Liga Universitaria de Deportes y profundizar el sentimiento de pertenencia.
7. Innovar en las fuentes de financiamiento de las diversas actividades, apuntando a su auto sostén.
8. Fortalecer y acrecentar las relaciones internacionales de la Liga .
