El handball ingresa en etapas definitorias y este sábado 9 de noviembre la Copa de Oro del Torneo Clausura tendrá la disputa de la primera final con Scuola Italiana y Huracán Buceo como protagonistas.
Scuola, campeón del Apertura, va en busca de otro título para sellar la obtención del Torneo Universitario 2019, pero del otro lado estará el tricoplayero que viene teniendo una muy buen Clausura.
Las scuolas dejaron por el camino en semifinales a Parque Cubano con un global de 2-0 en la serie y ese mismo resultado obtuvo Huracán Buceo frente a Bohemios.
El primer partido final de la Copa de Oro se jugará este sábado a partir de la hora 19:00 en el gimnasio del Colegio Saint Brendans, que tendrá una extensa jornada de cuatro encuentros.
Es que antes, desde las 17:30, se medirán Hebraica y Pontevedrés en la primera final de la Copa de Plata del Torneo Clausura.
Cabe recordar que tanto las finales de la Copa de Oro como las de la Copa de Plata son al mejor de dos encuentros pero en caso de igualdad en el resultado global (partido 1 y partido 2), se disputará un tercer y definitivo partido.
La jornada la abrirán a las 14:30 horas con el juego entre Peñarol y el Club Universidad Católica por el tercer y cuarto puesto de la Copa de Plata a partido único, al igual que el tercer y cuarto puesto de la Copa de Oro que jugarán Bohemios y Parque Cubano desde las 16:00.
Si en estos dos encuentros hay igualdad al término del tiempo reglamentario, se definirá en alargue y de persistir el empate habrá penales.
