El décimo Campeonato Universitario de Natación tuvo el sábado el inicio de la actividad con el Torneo Apertura que se llevó a cabo en el Complejo Deportivo Naval.
Con la presencia de 76 nadadores y un total de 10 clubes, el Torneo Apertura levantó el telón de la temporada de natación que este año tendrá tres instancias a lo largo del 2018.
El Apertura fue la primera y en una jornada espectacular en el Complejo Deportivo Naval, se conocieron a los primeros campeones del 2018.
En equipos chicos (de hasta cinco competidores), el vencedor fue Club Deportivo Ituzaingó Juvenil con 103 puntos, mientras que el segundo lugar lo ocupó Club Banco República con 69 y el podio lo completó el Instituto Universitario de la Asociación Cristiana de Jóvenes con 66.
Por otra parte, en equipos medianos (de 6 a 9 nadadores), el mejor del Apertura fue Poseidón con 287 puntos, al tiempo que Bohemios fue segundo con 171 unidades y Club Deportivo Ituzaingó Universitario tercero con 149.
En equipos grandes (más de 10 competidores), el ganador fue Escuela Naval con un total de 613 puntos, mientras que Hebraica fue segundo con 175.
La segunda instancia del décimo Campeonato Universitario de Natación será el Torneo Clausura y luego se vendrá el Anual para cerrar la temporada.
