La actividad del Torneo de Fútbol Playa de la Liga Universitaria de Deportes llegó a su fin en el Estadio Arenas del Plata de Playa Pocitos con la consagración de Body Factory y La Blanqueada como campeones.
La definición tuvo lugar el jueves por la noche y a primera hora se jugó la final de la Copa de Oro con Body Factory y Juventud como protagonistas luego de haber sido los mejores dos equipos de la fase regular.
En un partido muy parejo, típico de una final, ninguno de los dos regaló nada, pero el que terminó celebrando fue Body Factory, que se quedó con la victoria por 5 a 4 para convertirse en nuevo campeón de la Copa de Oro de esta disciplina.

A segunda hora llegó el turno para la final de la Copa de Plata y en un encuentro más abierto que el de la Copa de Oro, La Blanqueada venció a Wanderers por 5 a 3 para quedarse con este trofeo.
Desde la Liga Universitaria de Deportes felicitamos a los campeones de la temporada 2024 y también a todos los equipos que fueron parte de un nuevo Torneo de Fútbol Playa.
